MCC are in need of a full time Permanent Forensics Social Worker.

What are the responsibilities of the role? - Assessments from strength based. MCA, BIA processes, support people who have been admitted under MHA, ward rounds, hospitals, discharge pathway, conditional discharge - social supervisions, risk assessments, working with police under MAPA, Health colleagues, work with ICB joint packages of care,

accommodation and support services. People in hospital and sectioned or in prison or on way out of prison. Really supportive team, more of a team focus as lots of joint working.

What are the average caseloads - 20/25 at most but once full staffed around 15 cases.

Has mental health awareness or experience. Court reports or report writing as time scales are short. Risk management and evidence basing that.

Criminal justice and learning disability. Ideally driver.

To a point, hybrid working at organisation needs. 3 days in office, 2 at home.
