Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist (5 Axis - Hurco, Fusion 360)

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

* Program components using Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software

* Set up and operate Hurco 5 axis CNC milling machines

* Produce small, bespoke components to tight tolerances

* Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models

* Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies

* Carry out first off inspections using micrometres, optical projectors, and video measurement systems

* Optimise toolpaths and machining strategies to reduce cycle times

* Maintain machines and keep a clean, organised working area

* Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes

Required Skills & Experience:

* Minimum 3+ years CNC milling experience

* Strong background in 5 axis machining

* Proficient in Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM packages

* Solid understanding of tooling, feeds & speeds, and machining strategies

* Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Experience working to tight tolerances (0.01mm)

* Strong problem solving abilities and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Hurco machines..
• Knowledge of 5-axis machining principles.
• Familiarity with ISO programming / G-code.
• Apprenticeship or technical qualification in machining.
