Location: North London (with travel across surrounding areas)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Additional: Weekend availability required for emergency call-outs only

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Handyman to support our property management operations on a full-time, on-call basis. You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, inspections, and repair works across a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties located primarily in and around North London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general property maintenance and repairs (e.g. plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, minor painting & decorating)
  • Conduct routine property inspections and report findings
  • Diagnose maintenance issues and implement effective solutions
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in good condition
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, and management in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general property maintenance or handyman role
  • Strong ability to diagnose maintenance issues across multiple trades
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
  • Must be available to start work immediately or at short notice
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Must live within easy reach of North London
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be trustworthy, punctual, and professional
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB check required (or willingness to obtain)
