emporary Site Manager - New Build Housing
Location: Galgate, Lancaster
Rate: £250 per day
Duration: Minimum 3-4 Month Contract (Potential to Extend)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build housing scheme in Galgate, Lancaster.

This is a temporary position offering at least a few months' work, with the opportunity to see the project through key delivery stages. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the programme, quality standards, and health & safety compliance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day operations on a new build residential development

Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

*

Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management

*

Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks

*

Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site presentation

*

Liaising with clients, suppliers, and inspectors as required

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build housing projects

*

Valid SMSTS

*

CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred)

*

First Aid at Work certificate

*

Strong organisational and leadership skills

*

Ability to drive programme and maintain quality standards
