Prospero Teaching is working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Greenwich that is looking to appoint a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team in September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant KS1 & KS2 setting, supporting both class teachers and pupils while also leading learning independently when required. The school values teamwork, creativity, and behaviour built on mutual respect-making it a fantastic place to grow and thrive.

The Role:
· Delivering pre-planned lessons to small groups and occasionally whole classes
· Providing targeted support across KS1 and KS2 (based on experience)
· Supporting with assessments and feedback in collaboration with class teachers
· Promoting a positive and engaging learning atmosphere
· Assisting with behaviour management strategies and pastoral care
The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
· Be confident managing the classroom in the teachers absence
· Have strong behaviour management skills
· Be flexible, proactive, and able to work well within a team
· Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children
· Have good literacy and numeracy skills
