A leading company in the construction and manufacturing sector is urgently seeking a Management Accountant who is immediately available to join their dynamic team. This role offers the potential for permanent employment following a successful temporary period.
Day-to-day of the role: - Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
- Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget.
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Management Accountant.
- Strong understanding of accounting theory and practice.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
