𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮
• Solid, hands-on experience in rubber compounding (essential)
• Experience managing or leading a sizeable technical or lab team
• Strong understanding of product development, testing and ISO/industry standards
• Confident working with customers and providing clear technical guidance
• Commercially aware, solutions-focused and comfortable influencing decisions
• Someone who leads by example and values team development, collaboration and quality
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
• Lead rubber compounding product and process development aligned to company and customer objectives
• Manage and develop the laboratory team and wider technical function
• Produce recipes, mix cycles and testing specifications for rubber compounds
• Ensure all compounds meet British, International and customer-specific standards
• Investigate and resolve internal and customer non-conformances
• Support sales with technical expertise and accurate costings
• Oversee external testing, trials and commissioning activity as required
• Stay ahead of developments in materials, technologies and competitor products
• Contribute directly to product innovation and long-term technical strategy
