Pre Delivery Inspector - HGV Vehicles

Offering a competitive hourly rate between £15.91 - £18.26 per hour DOE, this role also includes a 37-hour work week from Monday to Thursday, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process quality audits, including torque settings and hydraulic pressure checks
- Systematically test each vehicle in line with inspection procedures
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications before vehicles are passed to sales
- Record build standard criteria and faults systematically for analysis
- Promote constructive dialogue with manufacturing teams to implement quality standards

Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with manufacturing teams.
- Knowledge/Expertise: Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles (light vehicle or HGV) and understanding of hydraulic systems and quality assurance processes.
- Innovation: Ability to support continuous improvement through data collection and feedback.
- Business Impact: Proven track record of working to set deadlines and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
