We are recruiting for a driven R&D Project Engineer to join our client based near Mansfield, Derbyshire. Our client is a global pioneer in combustion technologies, delivering innovative, first-to-market solutions across diverse industries.

This role is perfect for a candidate with a drive and passion for innovative burner technologies who is seeking a defined career path within design, development and testing of new bespoke parts.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct development and testing of bespoke parts in line with international standards.

* Engage in light fabrication and model making

* Solve technical challenges with innovative solutions

* Interact with clients directly for projects from cradle to grave including project updates and reporting.

* Travel occasionally within the UK and overseas

Candidate Profile:

* HNC or equivalent in engineering or a scientific discipline

* Preferably a time-served engineering apprenticeship with relevant experience

* Experience with domestic or light commercial gas appliances (highly advantageous)

* Fabrication skills (an advantage)

* Full UK driving licence
