What You Will Do
Johnson Controls is hiring an On-Site Fire Alarm Engineer for a nuclear site in the Southwest of the UK. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for servicing and maintaining fire detection and gas suppression systems. This role requires daily communication with the client to ensure all tasks comply with site standards and safety regulations.

How You Will Do It
- Service fire detection and gas suppression systems
- Accurately complete on-site documentation
- Attend mandatory nuclear site training
- Liaise with clients to obtain necessary permits to work
- Occasionally assist with mechanical and passive fire system works
- Provide on-call cover on a week-on/week-off basis
- Promptly report health and safety issues
- Uphold site-specific safety and quality standards
- Promote Johnson Controls' values of inclusion and accountability
What We Look For
- Experience in fire detection electrical systems
- Knowledge or experience with nuclear site requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead or work professionally within a team
- Must hold a full driving license
- Desirable: Relevant experience with CO2, Inergen, and Novec gas suppression systems
- Flexibility to travel for training purposes
