About the Role
We are recruiting an SEMH Teacher for a specialist school supporting pupils aged 5 to 16. The school provides a calm, structured and nurturing environment where pupils receive personalised teaching and strong emotional support.
Teachers in this setting deliver a mixed curriculum, so you will teach a range of subjects rather than one specialism. Lessons are adapted to meet individual needs and classes are small with high levels of support.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a mixed curriculum
Adapt teaching to meet the emotional and learning needs of pupils
Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils
Create a calm and predictable classroom environment
Support behaviour using clear routines and consistent strategies
Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams and therapists
Track pupil progress and contribute to personalised learning plans
What We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in SEMH, SEND or behaviour support is helpful
Confident teaching across multiple subjects
Calm, patient and consistent approach
Ability to build trust and communicate clearly
Someone positive, reliable and committed to helping pupils make progress
