Cover Supervisor - South Manchester

Teaching Personnel is searching for a number of cover supervisors to start work in January, following an influx in requests across South Manchester secondary schools.
The key responsibilities of a cover supervisor are to deliver pre-set work in accordance with school curriculum, responding and assisting students with any queries they may have and liaising with teachers and heads of department reporting back on the students' performance during the lesson. The most important aspect of cover supervision is to maintain the classroom, ensuring there are no major behavioural issues and work is completed efficiently.
- The Working day will generally run between 8.30am - 3.30pm (depending on the school)
- No additional responsibilities I.e., marking, producing curriculum or planning
- Opportunity to work with a diverse range of students across a multitude of different secondary schools in South Manchester
- Pay range from £1200 - £1350 per month depending on experience
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working within secondary schools as either a teaching assistant or cover supervisor, be educated to a degree level with intent to work in education or experience working directly with children in a youth work, support or coaching role.
Any successful applicant would be subject to DBS and Right to work UK checks so relevant documents will be requested.
