A well-regarded secondary school in Watford is looking for a passionate and committed Business / Economics Teacher to join their faculty on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the chance to inspire students and develop their understanding of business and economics in a dynamic school environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Teach Business and/or Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5

*

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that prepare students for exams and real-world applications

*

Support the development and enrichment of the Business / Economics curriculum

*

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

*

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Has strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and/or Economics

*

Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting, ideally including A-Level

*

Demonstrates excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills

*

Is committed to student achievement and fostering enthusiasm for the subject
