Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + profit share bonus

The role of the Product Engineer - Electrical Products will involve:

• Product Engineer position dealing with a high end manufactured rang of electrical products
• Assist with the development of new and existing products
• Carry out testing of product samples from manufacturers and overseas suppliers
• Establishing product specifications, writing product briefs, and determining applicable standards
• Establishing product and packaging labelling and marking requirements including packaging labels, product instruction leaflets and data sheets
• Collaborate with the Quality Team to investigate product problems, to report findings and manage product improvements with partner factories
• Produce product documentation, risk assessments and compliance reports

The ideal applicant will be a Product Engineer - Electrical Products with:

• Must have experience within Product Development or Product Design within the electromechanical industry
• Ideally will have dealt with a range of electrical products such as: Lighting, EV Chargers, Power Supplies
• Knowledge of electrical product application and electrical installation, including work practices on building sites would be of benefit
• Ideally will have experience liaising with global suppliers
• Ideally knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
• IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
