The Role - Electrical Shift Engineer:

As a key member of the on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a modern commercial building.

Duties include:

Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and general building services equipment

*

Responding to electrical faults and system alarms

*

Assisting with HVAC, BMS, and plant equipment support

*

Keeping accurate logs and shift reports

*

Supporting health & safety and compliance standards

*

Working as part of a skilled shift team on a 4 on 4 off rota (days & nights)

Requirements:

*

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (essential)

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

*

Experience within a commercial building or critical environment (desirable)

*

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

*

Team player with good communication and a proactive approach

*

Comfortable working shifts and independently when required
