Our client, a growing organisation based in Leeds, is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Accounts Assistant to join their expanding finance team. This role provides exposure to a wide range of financial operations, with structured training and a clear pathway for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

* Processing invoices and monitoring supplier payments

* Assisting with account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records

* Supporting month-end and year-end close processes

* Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger entries

* Assisting with payroll input, VAT returns, and compliance-related tasks

What We're Looking For:

* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

* Strong numerical ability with excellent attention to detail

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) is an advantage

* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

* Strong communication skills, with confidence working independently and in a team
