Kforce has a client in search of a System Engineer in Miami, FL. Summary: This req is for a Tier 3 Application Support role. Tier 3 refers to the fact that there are three levels of application support teams with the higher tiers handling the more difficult/unusual incidents reported by customers. The T3 rep would occasionally be interacting with customers however most interaction will be with internal teams (support, sales, etc.). The T3 rep is expected to become an expert on the usage of a handful of software applications in order to effectively support customers queries/problems with the apps. Duties Include:
  • Investigate problems reported by customers or other support teams
  • Attempt to reproduce issues locally
  • Research application logs and customers' environments to identify root causes of application problems
  • Maintain up to date information about customer problems within a ticket tracking tool
  • Contribute to internal product knowledge base documentation
  • Work with product owners to triage and prioritize bug fixes and product enhancement requests
  • Serve as liaison between various Support teams and the Product teams

Job Requirements:


  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
  • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
