Passionate English Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! High-Achieving 11-18 School

Our high-achieving 11-18 school in Hounslow is seeking a Passionate English Teacher to join our successful and dedicated English department. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire a love of literature and language in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach A-Level.

Location: Hounslow Role: English Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Start Date: September

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).

* Foster a deep appreciation for literature and develop students' writing, analytical, and communication skills.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver a rich and challenging English curriculum.

* Contribute to the effective assessment and monitoring of student progress in English.

* Potentially contribute to the teaching of English Literature or Language at A-Level, depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Degree in English Literature, Language, or a related field.

* Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).

* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
