This customer focused company sits in the communications space and has an excellent reputation for supporting business improvement through innovative solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to add a Campaign Manager to the marketing team. The successful candidate will develop demand and accelerate sales pipeline with the goal of new business and revenue growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the objective of the role is to provide high qualified leads for the sales team.

The role will be responsible for creating and executing demand generation campaigns across email, events, digital and social channels. The Marketing Campaign Manager will work with an inhouse content marketer to fill the top of the funnel with opportunity pipeline, setting up nurture campaigns (Hubspot / Dynamics CRM) and providing MQLs and SQLs to the sales team. This role is key in shaping the marketing strategy. The successful candidate will bring solid experience and understanding of devising successful integrated marketing campaigns to cater for and grow their key audiences.

Core Responsibilities

  • Delivering innovative digital marketing campaigns to drive a consistent flow of high-quality leads with strong commercial outcome
  • Managing multiple projects/ campaigns
  • Identifying and nurturing buyer intent should be core to these campaigns
  • Proactively engaging with a variety of teams including sales, product, digital, PR
  • Executing the 2022 marketing plan for lead and demand generation via HubSpot and Dynamics CRM
  • Guiding content - supporting the creation of persona guided content (with support from copywriters)
  • Applying knowledge of marketing automation to set up and deploy scheduled, automated and trigger emails
  • Using marketing best practice knowledge in digital marketing to inform campaigns and ensure activity meets GDPR regulations
  • Establishing and monitoring the lead management plan for all tactics webinars, events, etc. and adjusting campaign tactics to improve response volume and quality
  • Applying an experimentation mindset to marketing campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimise. Conducting A/B testing across all channels
  • Working closely with the wider team, evolve campaign messaging that supports go-to-market themes, ensuring that these messages are distributed to the right audiences at the right time across various marketing channels
  • Creating integrated marketing campaigns based on market segments to gain new customers and build repeat business
  • Executing, monitoring and measuring marketing campaigns and their success
  • Compiling regular reports of campaign performance and results
  • Improving new campaigns using data and feedback from existing and previous projects

Experience and Attributes required for role:

    • At least three years of senior high-performance Demand Gen B2B marketing campaign experience in Technology, Telecoms, SaaS, or IT-related industry
    • The ability to create manage and oversee multiple complex inbound nurture flows
    • Strong multichannel campaign experience, ranging from ideation to execution and optimisation
    • Demonstrable experience in creating campaigns based on customer insight/industry trends
    • Marketed to senior technical and non-technical audiences
    • Understand the fundamentals of paid marketing and be able to demonstrate current insight into what works.
    • HubSpot champion - whether workflows, landing pages, lead scoring, social, sales sequences, marketing emails, and beyond
    • Strong copywriting skills for creating compelling email campaigns - both to promote the business and nurture towards becoming a customer
    • Experience creating brand awareness and engagement on social to build communities of brand champions
    • A degree or equivalent in business or marketing
    • Work closely with the commercial and sales teams to understand the business plan for the technology area. What market trends are impacting the industry, and what solutions and value-added services are offered to support the customer.
    • Have a track record of using digital channels to drive demand.
    • Solid experience of a marketing tech stack of intermediate complexity with an interest in the area and a view on how to evolve
    • Track record of high-performing outbound email campaigns - and demonstrate knowledge of the latest practises in email marketing
