Maintenance Engineer required for a large and leading global manufacturer. This position would be based around Oxford and maintaining injection moulded products.

Maintenance Engineer - Injection Moulding Position Overview

• Maintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operations.
• Ensuring that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
• Managing maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling and work allocation to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff management.
• Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores and training given
• Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performance

Maintenance Engineer - Injection Moulding Position Requirements

• Demonstrate Subject matter depth and breadth in the Plant Operation and Maintenance competency
• Extensive experience in electrical and manufacturing engineering with a strong control engineering bias.
• To demonstrate knowledge of plant operation principles, methods and processes.
• The ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility.
• To demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability

Maintenance Engineer - Injection Moulding Position Remuneration

• Pension matched up to 5%
• 7am-7pm 4 days, 4 days off
• Likely but not guaranteed £42k-£48k including shift allowance
• Attendance bonus
• Lots of overtime from 1.5 times to 2.6 times
• Will pay relocation costs
