Science Teacher

Location: Secondary School - L25, Liverpool
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £150 - £220 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a secondary school in South Liverpool (L25) to recruit a passionate and skilled Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025.

The Role:

Teaching General Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Planning and delivering engaging, practical and well-structured lessons

Assessing and tracking student progress in line with departmental policies

Creating a positive learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular science activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Have experience teaching Science at secondary level

Be confident teaching Biology, Chemistry or Physics to GCSE (KS4)

Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

Be enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated to pupil progress and development

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
