We are currently supporting a market leader within the Training & Consultancy industry in adding to their ever-growing team. They are looking for a Marketing Director to grow their marketing department and support their wider business with their business engagement strategies.

* This is a hybrid role with occasional travel to the Liverpool head office throughout the year.

Summary of Position

This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, relationship management, and creative development to ensure our marketing strategies align with our organisational goals.

As we look to the future, we're focused on growth—both in how we reach our clients and how we develop compelling propositions that meet their evolving needs. The landscape of client communication is changing rapidly, and while we have the ambition, we often lack the time to fully explore and activate new marketing opportunities. This role is pivotal in helping us bridge that gap and take our marketing strategy to the next level. This role is expected to drive initiatives that directly contribute to the company's growth, with strong focus on identifying and executing marketing strategies that expand business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

* Manage relationships with external suppliers, agencies, and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of marketing services and assets.

* Gain in-depth knowledge of our clients & dept heads strategic priorities, challenges, and opportunities to identify areas of growth.

* Work with account managers to develop propositions and supporting sales materials

* Identify & capitalise on new business opportunities through targeted campaigns and strategic partnerships

Content & Messaging

* Lead the creation of consistent, high-quality marketing materials that reflect our brands voices and resonate with our audiences, including digital content, case studies, and success stories and sales & marketing materials

* Design, create & implement campaigns and content messaging to deepen client relationships and secure new clients

* Collaborate with sales & product teams to align marketing efforts, messaging and materials, with overall business growth goals.

Strategy Development & Collaboration

* Work closely with Company heads to co-develop compelling value propositions and targeted marketing campaigns that support the promotion and adoption of workforce development programmes.

* Identify growth opportunities and work proactively to expand our service offerings within the organisation

* Develop & execute marketing strategies that directly contribute to revenue growth & market expansion.

Campaign KPI's, Analysis & Reporting

* Track and evaluate marketing campaign performance across multiple channels, providing insights and clear reporting on (ROI) to support continuous improvement.

* Demonstrate campaigns contribution to increased qualified lead generation through digital and offline channels

Market Intelligence:

* Stay informed on sector trends, competitor activity, and stakeholder needs to shape positioning and improve strategic decision-making.

ImMarketing Strategy:

* Create, maintain and lead implementation of an annual company marketing Plan.

* Develop new client communication strategies to support our growth objectives. prove customer acquisition cost and return on marketing investment though data driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

Essential

* English/Maths GCSE or Equivalent Key

* Skills/Functional Skills

* MS Office

* BA (hons) Marketing, Higher Level Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

Desirable

* Additional professional certifications from

* Chartered Institute of Marketing

Experience

* Proven experience & evidence to support senior marketing management successes in proposition, marketing & campaign development and implementation

* Strong ability to manage external relationships and vendor contracts.

* Demonstrated experience in analysing marketing data and reporting on ROI.

* Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally.

* Creative thinking with a strategic mindset, particularly in campaign development
