Role: Administrator/Warehouse Operative

Location: Barrow in Furness

Hours of Work: Mon - Thu - 07:30am - 16:15pm, Friday 07:30am - 2:00pm

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £27,000 per annum

We are currently working with a Global Supply Chain and Distributor to recruit Experienced Administrator/Warehouse Operative to join their Barrow in Furness location. This role will be around 70% Administration and 30% Warehouse Operative.    

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Placing orders for both items and equipment
Maintaining stock levels through online database
Dealing with emails
Responding to customer enquiries
Dealing with all other warehouse administrative duties
Warehouse Operative

Working independently and as a team
Accepting deliveries into the warehouse via Forklift
Replenishment of inventory - using the hand-held scanner
Adopting the businesses 'One Team' approach and supporting other areas of the operation if occasionally required.
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment & maintenance of 5S standards.
Person Specification:

Educated to a good standard.
Experience of working in a warehousing environment is essential.
Excellent communication skills
Experience of using IT equipment in a workplace environment.
Experience of using a hand-held scanner
Open to change and adaptable, with a capacity and willingness to learn.
Able to prioritise a varied daily workload.
Forklift license advantageous
