Job Advert – Part-Time Lecturer (Foundation Studies)We are looking for a dedicated part-time lecturer to join our team teaching Foundation Studies, with a focus on Access to FE programmes. This role involves supporting learners to build independence and prepare for employment or further education. You will also play a key role in developing and enhancing the programmes within this area.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging teaching sessions within Foundation Studies, particularly Access to FE courses
• Support learners in developing skills for independence and progression
• Prepare students for Functional Skills qualifications
• Contribute to curriculum development and programme improvement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant subject or a minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial teaching experience in Foundation Learning
• Experience teaching Functional Skills within Foundation Learning
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in Foundation Studies
• Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector is desirable
