About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well established sheet metal manufacturing company based in Buntingford. They are looking for a reliable 3.5T Van Driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

This is a varied role that combines driving with some hands on work at the factory when required. You will be delivering sheet metal products to customers, including locations in Central London, and helping with loading, unloading, and general support within the warehouse or production area.

This role could suit someone currently working as a van driver, delivery driver, multi drop driver, or courier driver who is happy to get involved with warehouse or factory tasks when needed. It may also appeal to candidates with experience as a warehouse operative, driver warehouse assistant, or production operative with delivery responsibilities.

What You'll Do
• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver sheet metal products to customers
• Complete deliveries into Central London and surrounding areas
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Carry out vehicle checks and follow safe driving practices
• Support the factory team with general duties when deliveries are quiet
• Work closely with warehouse and production staff to prepare orders
• Ensure deliveries are completed on time and paperwork is accurate

What We're Looking For
• Experience driving a 3.5T van or similar delivery vehicle
• Confidence driving in Central London
• Comfortable with manual handling and loading/unloading goods
• A flexible attitude and willingness to help within the factory when required
• Good reliability and time keeping
• Must be aged 25 or over due to company insurance requirements
