In our team you will:

Review and approve counterparty credit risk exposure and limits in accordance with delegated authority.
  • Set credit risk related terms in trading documentation and liaise with CS Legal department and clients or their lawyers, as appropriate.
  • Work closely with front office business divisions including Sales, Trading & Structuring, and other support areas, e.g. market risk and legal in the creation of client solutions.
  • Undertake risk focused due diligence meetings with clients.
  • Support the re-structuring or amendment of transactions, if necessary, to align with risk appetite.
  • Identify early remedial action on deteriorating credits, working jointly with Recovery Management to manage problem credits and workout situations.
  • Self-assessment ahead of any audit or regulatory review of individual credits and files.

You Offer

  • Master's degree (preferably in a quantitative discipline) or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive experience of credit risk management at a senior level, including FI & Insurance credit risk.

  • Product knowledge in derivative products.
  • Understanding of Counterparty Rating Models and Exposure Calculation Methodology models.
  • Familiarity with EU credit risk regulatory requirements.

  • Highly Proficient communication skills in English.
  • Ideally another European language (German, Spanish, Italian, French).
