Looking for a role where you can make a real difference every single day? We're working with a welcoming Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Newcastle, supporting students who've faced barriers to mainstream education. This is your chance to help young people rebuild trust, re-engage with learning, and achieve more than they thought possible.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing behaviour support to small groups and individuals

Using de-escalation and restorative approaches to support positive behaviour

Encouraging students to engage in learning and build confidence

Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external specialists

What We're Looking For

Resilience, positivity, and confidence in challenging situations

A calm, patient approach with a good sense of humour

Experience in SEMH or alternative provision is a bonus but not essential

Team Teach or similar de-escalation training would be great—but if not, we can help with that
