Transport Resource Planner

Pertemps are looking for a Transport Resource Planner to support daily logistics operations and ensure smooth coordination between warehousing and distribution activities.

Main duties of this Transport Resource Planner role:

Assisting the Transport Planners with creating effective, cost-efficient transport schedules
Communicating with drivers and customers to coordinate delivery details
Maintaining and updating operational reports
Troubleshooting delivery issues and providing prompt resolutions
Keeping transport plans current and accurate throughout the day
Supporting with general administrative tasks as neededSkills required for this Transport Resource Planner role:

Has a strong background in administration and customer service
Brings previous experience working in a transport-related role (essential)
Ideally has prior experience in a transport office environment
Possesses solid knowledge of UK geography
Is confident using IT systems; experience with transport management systems is a plus
Has strong general computer literacy and attention to detailDetails of this Transport Resource Planner role:

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £25,235 per annum

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am- 4pm
