About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to join a leading global manufacturing organisation. In this role you will support the site's health, safety and environmental compliance, working closely with operational teams to promote safe working practices and maintain a positive safety culture across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, implementation and review of health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments

*

Conduct regular site inspections, audits and investigations to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards

*

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on all health, safety and environmental matters

*

Coordinate incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented

*

Deliver training and toolbox talks to increase awareness and understanding of safe working practices

*

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site, identifying opportunities to enhance safety performance

*

Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with legal and corporate requirements

*

Work collaboratively with global HSE teams and contribute to best practice sharing

About You:

*

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum

*

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

*

Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and its practical application

*

Confident in delivering training, briefings and safety messages to diverse teams

*

Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work independently with a hands-on and proactive approach

*

Attention to detail with a commitment to driving safety standards forward
