Modern Foreign Languages Teacher - KS3 to KS4

Location: Near Wilmslow, Cheshire

Are you a passionate and dedicated MFL specialist ready to inspire young minds? A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school near Wilmslow is seeking a committed Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to deliver engaging and effective language lessons across KS3 and KS4 from September through to December 2025.

About the Role

*

Teaching Modern Foreign Languages (typically French and/or Spanish) across Key Stage 3 and 4

*

Full planning, delivery, and assessment responsibilities in line with curriculum expectations

*

Creating a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that fosters language acquisition and intercultural understanding

*

Supporting students to progress and achieve their full potential

*

Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to wider school life and departmental initiatives

Candidate Requirements

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification

*

Proven experience teaching MFL at KS3 and KS4 level

*

Strong classroom management and ability to differentiate to meet all learning needs

*

A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for languages and education

*

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

*

Sound understanding of safeguarding practices and the latest KCSIE guidance

Pay

*

Competitive daily rate: £145-£200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
