The Education Specialist (TES) is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Childwall South Liverpool to recruit a Science Teacher to teach general science across KS3 and ideally Biology to KS4. This is a full-time position on a 1-year fixed term contract, beginning in September 2025, and continuing for the full academic year.

About the Role:

* Teach Science across KS3, with a focus on Biology at KS4

* Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking

* Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental collaboration

* Support students' academic progress and prepare them for assessments and exams

* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Who We're Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

* Strong subject knowledge across all sciences, with a specialism in Biology

* A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

* Ability to inspire and engage students across a range of abilities

* ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
