We’re seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive Individual Needs Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Eastbourne. This specialist setting caters to children with Complex Needs, including Autism, non-verbal communication, and personal care requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Patient, flexible and resilient individuals
• A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
• Previous experience as a Support Worker, Carer, or in a SEND role (personal experience also considered)
• A proactive approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting children with personal, physical, and medical care needs
• Encouraging independence and confidence through supportive, structured routines
• Delivering tailored learning activities to meet each child’s needs
• Contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff

Key Details:

• Location: Eastbourne
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Training: Ongoing CPD and optional qualifications available
• DBS: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this process)
