HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Minworth (Temp to Perm)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Minworth to join our well-established client based in Minworth, Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including temp-to-perm.

• Days – Monday to Friday – Start times from 06:00

• £15.00 per hour (basic)

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 Day Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Deliveries to businesses within a 75-mile radius of the depot
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules
• Multi-drop deliveries ranging from 10 to 20 drops per day

Essential Skills

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Minimum of 2 years’ Class 2 (C) driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English

Desirable Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience

Training Provided

• Industry-related training and ongoing support
