My market leading, Runcorn based client are looking to recruit an experienced Driver / Warehouse operative on a temporary basis for approx. 2 months, to start immediately. The successful candidate potentially may secure the role on a permanent basis should the temporary assignment prove successful.
Pay: £12.21 per hourLocation: RuncornHours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:00 (09:00 – 17:00 whilst training)

The successful candidate will be a reliable and adaptable individual as you will support both driving responsibilities and warehouse-based tasks. This position suits someone who is hands-on, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials between sites or to customer locations.
- Complete delivery and collection routes efficiently and to schedule.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks, ensuring any defects are reported promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, delivery details, and compliance paperwork.
- Strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures is essential.
Warehouse Duties
- Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations including loading, unloading, sorting, and organising stock.
- Perform regular heavy lifting as part of general handling duties.
- Support preparation of items and materials for dispatch or internal processes.
- Undertake light, hands-on assembly-style tasks as part of production flow (full training provided).
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with operational standards.
- Strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures is essential.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (clean).
- Experience in driving or warehouse roles beneficial but not mandatory.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling work.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willing to learn new tasks and follow clear instructions.
