Our Group Finance Manager will play a key role in assisting with our Group reporting and will drive financial controls across the business area. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technical accountant who will gain broad exposure of group finances in a fast-paced growing business. This is a full time, permanent role based from our office in Chorley.
As a Group Finance Manager you will…
Support the GFC with driving the financial controls across the Group; with the view of standardising and developing group wide processes and reportingResponsible for the Ipsum Utilities monthly results, budget and forecast - this will include working with cost centre managersPrepare a number of accounting policies and produce a central subsidiary for all policiesSupport the GFC with the management of the loan facilities and required reportingBecome the in house expert on tax matters such as VAT, employment taxes, CIS and DRCCreate a consolidated balance sheet reporting model to enable easier reviewing of key itemsDevelop the group function to allow key tasks to be centralised e.g. Fixed assets and PAYEAssist with any finance restructuring exercises within the group including acquisitions and fair value accountingProvide technical advice to members of the finance functionMentoring junior staff members of the finance function on accountancy best practicesAssist with the various treasury roles within the Group team, including payment approvals, credit cards and reviewing expenses Support the Group FC with all HMRC and Companies House filings About you…
