Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative – Tonbridge

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)

Job Overview:We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative. This role is primarily focused on driving, with responsibility for national deliveries using a 3.5-ton low loader van. You will also support warehouse operations when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out national deliveries using a 3.5-ton low loader van
  • Follow delivery routes planned and scheduled by the admin team
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of all deliveries
  • Load and unload goods safely and securely
  • Complete delivery paperwork and use delivery software to track jobs
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly
  • Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road
  • Help prepare goods for dispatch and organise deliveries
  • Support unloading of deliveries and general warehouse upkeep
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Work proactively using your own initiative

Working Hours:

  • Standard hours: 08:00 – 17:00 – Mon to Friday
  • Hours may vary depending on delivery routes
  • Overtime paid for any additional hours worked
  • Some overnight stays will be required

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (required)
  • Experience driving a 3.5-ton vehicle preferred
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use delivery software
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Flexible approach to working hours and travel, including overnight stays
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
