Overview
We are working with a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to support the appointment of an experienced Senior PFI Contracts Manager. This is a senior advisory role with a national portfolio of PFI contracts, ideally suited to a candidate based in or around Leeds, though work will cover projects across the UK.
The role will focus on managing and advising on PFI contracts, with particular emphasis on handback, pre-handback, and contract performance issues across a diverse asset base.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a Senior PFI Contracts Manager, providing expert contract management and advisory support to the SPV
* Manage a portfolio of UK-wide PFI contracts
* Lead and support handback and pre-handback activities, including identifying risks, obligations, and mitigation strategies
* Provide support on contractual, technical, and commercial issues, including liaison with surveyors and technical advisors
* Advise on contract compliance, performance management, and lifecycle obligations
* Provide advisory pricing of work, ensuring value and alignment with contractual requirements
* Apply and interpret NISA guidance, particularly in the context of handback and lifecycle obligations
* Engage with stakeholders across public and private sector bodies

Experience Required
* Proven experience as a PFI Contracts Manager
* Strong knowledge and understanding of PFI, from either the public or private sector perspective
* Hands-on experience with handback and pre-handback scenarios
* Familiarity with NISA guidance
* Comfortable working in a national-facing role
* Strong stakeholder management and advisory capability
