Your role as Shipping and Compliance Coordinator will be critical to the success of import/export for a world leading global manufacturer of digital technologies, with over 30 years of experience. You'll be based out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and will have the chance to work with a range of teams, including purchasing, logistics, materials and sales.

Your purpose will be to ensure that all import/export activities are completed efficiently, where you will manage shipping activity and ensure that the business complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain HMRC Complaint audit logs for import/export
Trouble-shoot shipment and delivery issues
Drive accuracy of ERP system
Analyse and monitor shipping spend and performance
Assist with trade compliance audits and reviewsWhat we are looking for?

Demonstrable knowledge and experience with global customs regulation and UK & US export controls.
Detailed knowledge of HMRC related formalities - both imports and exports: Commodity codes and tariffs / processing relief / customs procedures /
Ability to work with cross-functional team: sales, admin, warehouse, materials, logistics, purchasing
Skills: Proficient in office applications (excel and outlook)
