About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Lecturer to join a welcoming Further Education college in South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for someone passionate about supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to achieve their potential.
You will deliver engaging and accessible learning to students with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, communication challenges, or social/emotional barriers. You will work closely with support staff and curriculum teams to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high‑quality, differentiated lessons for SEND learners
- Adapt materials and teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
- Work closely with Learning Support Assistants and other specialist staff
- Track, assess, and review learner progress
- Contribute to learner EHCP reviews where required
- Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
