We are supporting a secondary school in Nechells who are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Lead / Head of Year to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student wellbeing, culture, and behaviour.

The Role:

Lead pastoral support for a designated year group

Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families

Drive positive behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding standards

Collaborate closely with SLT and the wider support team

About You:

Proven experience in pastoral leadership within a school setting

Confident communicator with a strong presence

Passionate about supporting young people to succeed

Ability to handle challenging situations with resilience and empathy
