Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Hours: Mon, Wed & Thurs - 07:00-16:30, Tues- 06:00-15:30 and Fri - 07:00-14:00. This is only until the end of March and then hours will revert back to 07:00-16:30.
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Job type: Temp to perm

Manpower is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client that specialises in the provision of comprehensive grounds maintenance services and contractors for both the public and private sectors.

The successful candidate will be working on a variety of sites in the local area, from residential properties to NHS hospitals, to prestigious commercial offices.

Your duties will include grass cutting, strimming, leaf clearance, general maintenance to shrub beds, and winter gritting.


Ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 or more years' experience in horticulture.
  • Full clean driving licence (essential)
  • Knowledge of pedestrian lawn mowers and handheld machinery
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on their own

Salary: plus, benefits including:

28 Days annual holiday including Bank holidays plus overtime when available.
