Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation through the magic of literature? Aspire people invites dedicated English Teachers to join an exceptional secondary school in the NG16 , where you'll be teaching students in years 7 to 11.

Position: English Teacher
Location: NG16
Contract Duration: January 2026 (long term - maternity cover)
Working days:2-3 days a week
Working hours: #removed# ( term time only)

Responsibilities of an English Teacher:
* Craft and deliver engaging English lessons for students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11).
* Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for literature and language.
* Develop lesson plans and instructional materials in alignment with curriculum standards.
* Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
* Collaborate with the English department to enhance the overall learning experience.
* Dedicate time for planning and marking, with scheduled time on the timetable for these activities.

English Teacher: Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Specialization in English education.
* Proven experience teaching English to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
