Job Title: CNC Turner
Location: Warrington - WA1
Salary: £39,000 per year (Equivalent to £18.75 per hour)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (7am until 4pm) and Friday (7am until 1pm)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our client in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for machining high-quality components in line with technical drawings and specifications, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc controls).

* Manufacture components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

* Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers.

* Perform routine preventative maintenance and general machine checks.

* Ensure all work complies with company quality procedures.

* Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations at all times.

Skills & Competencies

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Strong experience in CNC programming, setting, and operation.

* Knowledge of geometric tolerances and precision engineering.

* Proficient in using a range of inspection and measuring tools.

* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Strong team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Performance Expectations

* Produce components accurately and efficiently to required standards.

* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.

* Demonstrate reliability through excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Qualifications & Experience

* Previous CNC turning experience is required.

* Experience with Fanuc controls is advantageous.
