A well-established environmental consultancy is seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant to join their growing team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop their skills across a wide range of environmental and geoenvironmental projects.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting site investigations, environmental assessments, and technical reporting, while working alongside experienced consultants in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with Phase 1 Desk Studies and environmental risk assessments
• Supporting Phase 2 site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling
• Logging soil and rock in accordance with industry standards
• Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretative reports
• Supporting the development of remediation strategies
• Ensuring health and safety compliance on-site

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
• Some relevant consultancy or site experience (placement or internship desirable)
• Basic understanding of contaminated land and ground investigation processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
