My client, a well-established and growing business based in Stoke-on-Trent, are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on a 3-month interim basis. In this role, you will ensure that supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time. You will reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, prepare payment runs, and maintain accurate records. You will also work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, supporting month-end processes and providing general assistance to the wider finance team as needed. My client is looking for someone with experience in accounts payable and a strong understanding of accounting processes and purchase ledger procedures, ideally within the Housing/Property sector. Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage your workload efficiently are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems, alongside good communication skills, will help you succeed in this role.
