Overview

Berry Recruitment is currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established distribution warehouse based in Chepstow. This role involves general warehouse duties in a busy environment handling a wide range of food products, including fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, dry store ingredients, fresh meat, and fish.

This position offers consistent shifts and the potential to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently picking and packing products
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Working within chilled, ambient, and fresh-food areas of the warehouse
• Sorting, organising, and storing stock correctly
• Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene and safety standards
• Following all company health and safety procedures
• Collaborating with the warehouse team to meet daily targets

Requirements

• High-visibility jacket and safety boots (essential)
• Ability to work late shifts consistently
• Comfortable working in chilled and ambient environments
• Punctual, and able to work in busy environments
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
