Your role will involve:

Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available in some schools)

Delivering engaging, well-planned lessons that build literacy, critical thinking, and creativity

Using data to track student progress and inform targeted support

Working collaboratively within a dedicated English department

Promoting a positive attitude toward reading, writing, and communication

We're looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching English in secondary schools

Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the English curriculum

Can build strong relationships with students and manage classroom behaviour effectively

Is committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice

Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and resilience to the classroom
