A Bergen County based General Contracting and Real Estate Development firm is seeking an attorney with minimum 5 years of transactional real estate, land use and development experience and possess a learned understanding of construction law. Experience in land acquisition and approvals such as reviewing/due diligence, securing of permits, obtaining zoning approvals, titles, revenue construction, permanent financing and environmental studies is a plus. The in-house position may also require that the applicant handle detailed commercial real estate transaction matters, including negotiating and drafting of Contracts and Leasehold agreements, negotiation, review and closing loans, and other sources of funding.

Candidates should be strong communicators, both oral and written, as well as able to work independently and with others or in a team setting. Flexibility and the ability to multi task are desirable.
