HVAC Engineer - Farnborough - 46k + Package

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Engineer to join our team, working on a day shift basis at a multi-building site in Farnborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems within a critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules and industry standards

* Carry out reactive maintenance and fault finding on:

* Split air conditioning systems

* VRV/VRF systems

* Chillers

* Air Handling Units (AHUs)

* Diagnose faults and ensure prompt, effective repairs

* Identify and report defects, including providing parts lists and repair timescales

* Ensure all plant and equipment remain in safe, serviceable condition

* Maintain accurate records

* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, including safe handling of refrigerants

* Supervise subcontractors on site when required

* Support and assist with the training and development of onsite staff

* Work closely with site teams and client representatives to maintain high service standards

Requirements

* F-Gas qualification (essential)

* Formal training in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical or electrical engineering

* Proven experience maintaining HVAC systems in a commercial or critical environment

* Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional out-of-hours work if required
