As a Junior CAD Technician, you'll support the engineering team in producing high-quality drawings and designs for highways and drainage projects. You'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced engineers, and build your career in civil and infrastructure design.
What You'll Be Doing
* Use AutoCAD to produce drawings and layouts for highway and drainage schemes
* Assist with the design of vehicle accesses, junctions, and visibility splays
* Carry out swept path analysis to check vehicle movements
* Update and revise drawings as designs develop
* Work closely with engineers and other members of the design team
What We're Looking For
* Some experience using AutoCAD (college, university, or work experience)
* A basic understanding of highway or civil engineering design
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and team spirit
* Organised, motivated, and able to manage your workload
